Coarse & Fine
Coarse Aggregates
Typically larger than 4.75 mm. Includes gravel, crushed stone and other rock fragments that give strength and structure to the finished material.
Fine Aggregates
Smaller than 4.75 mm. Sand and fines that fill the voids between coarse aggregate and help achieve a workable, well-packed mix.
